Prime Care Technology's Data Center Set-Up

Prime Care Technologies has partnered with Quality Technology Services to fulfill our data center requirements. With millions of dollars invested in a 376,000 square foot data center, you are assured of total reliability. Your applications will reside on PCT's' equipment located at this world class data center which we staff with professionals who can assist in loading and configuring applications and/or help resolve technical issues. Utilizing a complex suite of tools and products, we monitor all aspects of our service delivery.

Security

: The QTS facility is monitored by a robust camera system and security personnel round the clock. Photo identification, scanner card access, biometric iris scanning, fingerprint identification, and visual inspection are required to enter the data center.

Power

: Power is highly redundant and is continuously monitored by a comprehensive Hitec system, which continually conditions power to the data center floor. Prime Care Technologies is able to offer a 100% power SLA because of the data center's redundant power configuration.

Fire

: Fire monitoring includes a first-phase Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) on the data center floor and critical operation areas with a second-phase smoke detection and fire suppression system and over 1,000 smoke detection devices located throughout the facility.

HVAC

: The cooling system is managed by Metasys, an automated software program designed to control both temperature and humidity. Each of the 145, 36-ton Liebert air handlers are fitted with an external sensor that monitors the air throughout the entire data center, providing real-time feedback on all environmental zones.

Quality Suwanee Data Center

Site

: The QTS data center was designed and built specifically to support computers, information technology and telecommunications equipment. The location was selected specifically to meet the needs of a secure data center. It is a non-descript building in a commercial business area primarily made up of corporate offices and distribution facilities. Its low profile compared to the surrounding buildings lends added protection from wind and weather. The data center facility is hardened structurally.

  • The facility is a tilt-up concrete structure, consisting of reinforced steel.
  • The roof was reconstructed as a component of the data center mission critical systems. Its 4-ply design provides an enhanced water and vapor-proofing membrane.
  • The ceiling is dual reinforced.
  • Thirty (30) foot embankments surround the north and west side of the property.
  • The building is rated for 85 mph force/Level 2/Hurricane.
  • The facility has a video system covering interior and exterior space
  • The facility sits approximately 90 feet above the 100-year flood line. Security gates on the north side of the facility restrict access to the rear of facility where loading docks, generators, and some operational equipment are located.

Data Center Connectivity

We're connected via a Gigabit port on redundant fiber rings that provides scalable bandwidth on demand and has full route-diversity. We also have complete remote access from our corporate office using a 10 Megabit Metro-Ethernet pipe with full redundancy for monitoring and managing all servers and data communications equipment from either location. With the data center just minutes away from our corporate office, our personnel can work out of both locations or can be dispatched to either site quickly, should the need arise.

As a managed hosting service company, we maintain our equipment to ensure peak performance and high availability. Any maintenance requiring downtime would occur during a maintenance window so that service interruptions to your users have minimal or no impact.
