CHAMPS Group Purchasing announces a three-year contract with Procurement Partners for its e-commerce portal to aid in purchasing and transaction automation. Procurement Partners focuses on helping healthcare organizations save money and manage the complex process of purchasing from multiple vendors and invoice reconciliation. This new supply chain technology contract is available to CHAMPS’ 7,000+ members. Regardless of the number of locations, members can benefit from solutions Procurement Partners provides.

“CHAMPS is excited to announce the addition of Procurement Partners to our portfolio of supply chain technology contracts,” said Jan Elder, director of contracting services, CHAMPS Group Purchasing. “Procurement Partners offers CHAMPS members a complete e-procurement system with the added benefit of GPO contract discounts. This contract is available to all members, regardless of their class of trade. Procurement Partners’ special focus on the needs of long-term care facilities offers great synergy with the demographics of our membership.”

Procurement Partners gives its clients complete visibility into their entire spend, while automatically auditing every single electronic invoice that flows through the portal. Support of budgets, along with flexible order and invoice approval workflows, allows members to configure the portal to meet their specific needs and processes, while also keeping the pulse on how their organization is meeting their budget goals. Procurement Partners provides avenues to capture 100 percent of all invoices for clients.

“The Procurement Partners application is the ultimate tool for healthcare organizations to maximize the powerful vendor agreements and deep discounted prices that have been negotiated by CHAMPS, along with collecting all of their purchase orders and invoices in the portal to gain additional savings though automation,” said Rusty Zosel, CEO, Procurement Partners. “Our online system makes it easy for staff to take advantage of CHAMPS-negotiated contracts, while providing leaders with visibility into total procurement spend, approvals, and budgets.”
